This coat looks really nice and the color is beautiful. Coat is not water resistant or water proof, but I wasn't expecting it to be. The material keeps you warm without making you too hot, and is breathable but still keeps the wind out. You won't want to use this coat alone for freezing temps, but with a sweatshirt underneath it could work. The sizing is a little odd, but I was looking for a maternity coat and this was the best j could do to make sure it would fit until the end of January when baby comes. I needed something with buttons and a belt that would keep the coat closed if my belly gets too big to button the bottom buttons, a zipper just wasn't going to cut it. I've gotten a ton of compliments on this coat, and it's shape is super flattering. The hood is also a plus, but comes off if you don't want it.
