I like this long dress a lot. The long sleeves are nice for cold weather, the inseampockets are great, the color & print are fine, (big green leaf), and the style is verycomfortable.However, the fabric is rather strange! The label says, 95% rayon, 5% spandex.....but I would not be surprised if it is really the other way around, (95% spandex,5% rayon). The fabric stretches a lot, every which way!! Rayon does Not stretch.I had to put a drawstring ( gathered heavy thread), in the neck line, as it was waytoo big, and getting bigger!! It fits much better now. I also had to hem it, and then,again.....as it kept stretching longer!The whole garment is rather heavy, which would/could indicate a lot of spandex,which is elastic, and we all know what happens with elastic......it stretches & stretches.So 5 stars for the dress, and 1 star for the strange fabric.WARNING: I need to say that the white dresses come with a little note to wear an underslip due to sheerness. Not a deal-breaker, but something the seller should honestly say up front. It's not 1975. Not everyone owns a slip.REVIEW: I've bought two of these so far, the black w green fronds (so cool and Matrix-y), and the white w roses (balanced colors, great for gray spring and summer days, would totes wear in the autumn bc the white is creamier than depicted and the roses are more burgundy than pink, the blue depicted is actually grayish).I love the weight of these dresses. I love the stretchy material and the ankle length (I'm 6'0" at 240lbs, 4X). The material breathes very well, and is perfect year-round! Add a blazer in the winter, a sweater in the spring and fall, and go dress-only in the summer.I could see that this dress might be a bit heavy for some in the summer. I haven't worn either on a hot day (78F up), will report back when I do along with a sweat test (absorption). As long as it's breezy, I think it'll be fine. I would say roll up the sleeves, but I'm hesitant about stretching them. I'm no seamstress, but I like the material and so far both dresses have held up very well after two gentle washes and air dry. No wrinkles with air dry!!!!! Also, no loose hems or dangling threads yet. I can't say that for a certain, ubiquitous women's store often found in American malls, whose first syllable rhymes with "hAVE". Their clothes fall apart after one wash. I was worried with these dresses being so economical that they would, too. So far, they still look awesome. No fading or dye bleeds in the wash!Hope the seller maintains this quality and continues adding new colors and patterns. For the first time in two decades, I've found a garment I wouldn't mind having a collection of.It's comfortable and works ideally when traveling.I wish I could give these dresses 10 stars!!! They hang perfectly, they look fantastic on, they come in great patterns, and the best part... THEY HAVE POCKETS!! I get soooo many compliments on all of the dresses I've bought so far (three in total) and I can't wait til I get more!! Don't hesitate... buy it!! You won't regret it!The fit is decent and just about on point...or a little smaller than expected. Feels like a super soft tee-shirt and comfortable to wear. I feel if you are over 5'8" this will be a bit short and not a true to the floor maxi. I am 5'11" and it hits a few inches above my ankle. The bad part about this is it wears and pills fairly quickly especially around the armpit area. Depending on the color you choose, it may or may not be sheer. Shades that are toward white or have a white background are moderately sheer.This dress is soft and comfy, yet is flattering for a quickie dress-up evening , just add jewelry or a scarf.I wanted a dress that was comfortable to wear around the house, be able to answer the doorbell, run errands, etc. This definitely fits the bill! The only complaint I have about the dress is it's a little high-waisted and I would prefer it fit my waist. Other than that complaint, I love the dress!! It washes easily and I wear it constantly. Love it!!Suoer cute dress. Not too sheer. Comfy fit. Would buy more like this.
