This was a gift for my sister to take to the hospital for her surgery. She is 5'2", an A cup and about 300 lbs so I ordered a 5X. It is the perfect fit. The fabric is wonderfully absorbent, stretchy and not see through at all. The cut is forgiving and flattering with a scoop neckline that's just right (no flashing of the girls). The length hits her knees. The cut will accommodate a much larger bust size but the length will be shorter in front. We wash it in cold water and dry it on cool. No shrinkage or color fading. She's very happy with it.Soft and made well. Holds up in the washer.I was just looking for some lounge around pajamas and didn't expect much, but this surprised me. It's soft and the lace panel is thick and matched up really well down the center seam.This is my new favorite nights but it’s sooo soft and comfortable!I like the material.UPDATE ONE YEAR LATER: I ordered the black one first. That is the one whose ring broke. They gave me a replacement, but I haven't worn it much. However, I did order the white with sunflowers, and I LOVE THIS NIGHTGOWN!!! ??????Unlike the black one, this white with sunflowers color has lace that goes down far enough in front. The straps must be adjusted differently, because the lace looks the same to me.I LOVE THE POCKETS!!!!! I carry my phone with me everywhere I go, so pockets in nightgowns are now a must, LOL. Although the phone is a little heavy for the pockets, this nightgown works out great. It looks great, feels great, and functions well.BOTTOM LINE: I WOULD BUY AGAIN!!FIRST REVIEW (BLACK COLOR): The rings that connect the strap to the back of the dress are plastic. One broke. I was able to get the strap back in so I could wear it again, but the strap kept coming back out. I got this nightgown to wear on vacation in front of my relatives, so now I must wear a bra with it because superglueing it didn't work. Very disappointed! The rings should be metal or stronger plastic.Also, I wish the lace came down further to cover certain bits so I wouldn't have to use a robe in front of my relatives. The lace is about about 2" too short for that.The pockets are a plus. I love the feel and weight of the material. Fits perfectly. I liked it so much that I ordered another one in another color.Bottom line: I do recommend because the replacement nightgown has worked fine. Maybe the first one I got was an exception.This nightgown is super nice. The material is very soft. It's pretty. It has pockets!! In my opinion, EVERYTHING should have pockets! I'm going to buy another one in another color.This was a very beautiful nightgown but I like my nightgowns a little loose when I sleep. Even though I ordered a size up, it was skin-tight fitting. I was afraid 2 sizes up would be too loose on my chest so I returned it. I would just advise to size-up if you are looking for a loose gown.
