I really, really like this skirt, and I want a dozen more. I'm pretty short (5'2") and this skirt hits well below my knee when I wear it at my hips. However, because of the fit I can also wear it up at my natural waist and it hits right below my knee. It's a bit shinier in person than it is in the picture, and my blue is more of a navy. I still really like it. It's not weird shiny, just.... not quite as _flat_ as it appears in the picture.The material is heavier than I expected, but in a good way. It feels substantial, but because of the fullness of the skirt it is still swishy and fun to wear.Update: I have received a full refund within 1 day of request, and the seller did not even require me to return the product. Given that the skirt seemed like it would have been great had it arrived undamaged I am increasing my review to 5 stars.We received the item with a tear in the seam/fabric & the manufactures tags had been removed (you can see the remaining white strip where it had been cut off). The quality of the fabric did seems nice. It was soft and not really see through (only if you really stretch it out). If it wasn't ripped we would have kept it even with missing tags. We have asked to return the item, and it is awaiting approval from the seller. I will update with how that goes asap.I had "outgrown" my old red skirt and needed a new one for the Christmas program at church. This fit the bill perfectly. Since I'm a little older now, the 'hidden' elastic in the waist is wonderful. Just a note, this 'classic red' is a hair darker than a Christmas red, but not enough to bother about. Plus, at 5'3", the length is perfect - another hard to find problem solved. Also, just change the style of the top and accessories to change the style/use of the skirt. I love flexibility.The Women's Elastic Waist Below Knee Midi Flare was great. I bought this skirt because I had a performance and we were told to purchase white flowy pieces. According to the vision I had, this skirt was perfect!! It sat on the waist and it was a tad too big (that was my error). Outside of being too big, the white was bright, the length was good but it hid the movement for out performance and I had to go with a different option. On another note, I wore it for an all white affair I had to attend and received plenty compliments on it. Great purchase, no regrets.I love this skirt so much. It has a perfect weight, just heavy enough to have a wonderful shape to it, but not too heavy to layer. I'm 5'2 and it is about an inch and a half below my knees when I wear it on my waist. Its so soft, the color is amazing and didn't bleed when I washed it. It also is probably the comfiest thing I own. I'm not joking. I feel like I am wearing really fashionable pajamas when I wear it. I would buy this skirt in every color if I had the funds to.I love this red skirt! It is a little longer than expected, but I am a little short. I actually bought it to wear for my Halloween costume. I dressed up as Velma (Scooby Doo ). I was hoping I could wear it after Halloween too. Since I like it so well I will be looking for a shirt to match it so I can wear it through the year.I'm 5-3 tall, it hits just a little below my knee. the waistband is a bit tight but is flexible, but tight so I can adjust the height of the waistband to be placed, I could wear it a bit above my belly button so it will make a high waist skirt.It flares pretty makes me keep turn my hips around just to see it flares.Just that the fabric seemed quite thick from the photo but it wasn't as thick as I thought -It sure is much thicker than those cotton t-shirts but definitely not the sweater-thick.Thinking of getting more colorI liked the skirt, but decided it was too tight at the waist. Returned it last week. The fabric was nice, and not real see thru (ordered white). The other reason I returned it was the color. It was not really white....more like an off white. Did not match my white shirts and blouses. Service and delivery were fine .
