I am deciding whether or not to return this coat. The coat is different than advertised on the website. The brand on the website is Woman Within . The coat I received is Ellos. The companies are connected however Ellos clothing are fitted and run true to size. Woman Within provides a more generous cut. The difference didn't end there. The coat I received has a fur collar and is thicker than the one ordered. ....I should know because I have three of the Woman Within puffer coats which are light weight and great for travel. The quality of the coat is fine. It is more snug than I would ordinarily order in a puffer coat. Three stars because it is the wrong coat. Five stars for quality and style.Update to original post: I returned the coat and purchased three Amazon Essential puffer coats. They are fabulous.This coat is great. Bright, gorgeous red (blue red, not orange red, so it’s universally flattering), medium thickness to protect you in wind, cold and rain.Generous sized hood is detachable.It's filled with down alternative and quilted in horizontal lines. Great length to keep your core warm.This is not a jacket for extreme cold, but will work nicely in moderately cold winters. Chunky zipper is easy to fasten. Sleeves have woven cuff to insulate you from the cold. I am size 14 but after reading the reviews here I chose 18/20 size and it is perfect, roomy enough to layer underneath if needed, but fitted enough so I don't look like beehive on legs.Great quality, no strings sticking out like so many other brands, really nice hand feel of the nylon shell. Overall fantastic buy. If you forced me to criticize one thing I would say that moving the side pockets forward, making them not quite side pockets but not quite cangaroo pouch pockets is little bit confusing and took me time to get used to, but the pockets are fleece lined and I love the coat overall.This is a great coat for the price, quite heavy not a light coat. Its is very cozy and will keep you warm. I did go by the chart above and was surprised when it says I was only a medium, I was thinking more extra large. I was worried it would not fit, but found the chart worked well. It fits great, with even room for a thick sweater underneath. I am 5 ft 4" and 200 pounds and medium out works great.COAT IS VERY NICE AND IS NOT A LIGHT COAT. PROBLEM IS THE SIZING CHART WAS NOT RIGHT. I USUALLY WEAR SIZE 3 OR 4X BUT THEY WERE WAY TOO BIG. I FINALLY FIGURED OUT I NEEDED TO WEAR SIZE 1X. I THINK THESE PLUS SIZES ARE MUCH BIGGER THAN WHAT IS USUALLY SOLD IN THE STORES. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO SEND 2 COATS BACK AND NEVER REPURCHASED. I WISH I HAD BECAUSE THE PRICE WENT UP. THIS COAT WILL KEEP YOU WARM IN VERY COLD WEATHER FOR SURE.this is a good coat for cold winter days I got it at the end of winter so I only wore it a couple times, I will say the pockets are at a weird angle, but they are deep, I would've liked another pocket maybe inside for a phone or whatnot, the hood is so big I just took it off because it was so big it was just a nusance. but for the price it did what it was intended to doRuns a big in sizing. Vibrant color red - love it. Warm and comfortable to wear when I’m out with my dogs and weather is cold and windy. I don’t need to add an extra layer when I’m bundled up in this coat. Exactly what I wanted, great color and value - worth my time searching.A little too puffed but it's okay. Wouldn't buy it again.I ordered a size bigger because most of the time sizes are smaller than expected. Nope, it was the right size. It is very comfortable. Too big turned out to be good for wearing thick clothes in snow. I love this jacket.
